Rapid OpenShift Deployment for One of India’s largest state police departments

Executive Summary

A major state-level law enforcement organization needed a modern container platform delivered under exceptionally tight timelines. With no enterprise-grade storage available and mission-critical systems depending on immediate platform readiness, the project required rapid execution without sacrificing stability. Silvereye deployed two fully operational Red Hat OpenShift clusters within a remarkably short duration, enabling persistent storage through OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) as a software-defined storage layer. Despite the time constraints, both clusters were fully deployed, configured, validated, and prepared for application workloads with complete reliability. This fast-track implementation enabled the police department to adopt a resilient, scalable, and production-ready platform — demonstrating Silvereye’s ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects at exceptional speed.

Deploying Two OpenShift Clusters Under Extreme Time Constraints 

Two clusters were rapidly designed, deployed, and configured, meeting the aggressive deadlines without compromising platform integrity.

Implementing ODF for Software-Defined Storage 

To offset the absence of enterprise storage, Silvereye configured OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) to provide persistent volumes and resilient, internal storage capabilities.

Rapid Setup and Complete Validation

All components — control plane, worker nodes, networking, storage, and cluster services — were configured and validated in a short timeframe, ensuring the platform was stable and production-ready
